A smooth and safe operation of the blow room and carding machines requires detection and elimination of contamination in cotton. It also requires detection of sparks that occur at different stages in the blow room and carding machines.
Spark detection:
At the beginning of spinning production, cotton is processed in the blow room, where sparks can occur in any section. The spark detectors in selected positions identifies the hazard immediately, much before a fire can arise. It then initiates the diversion of the spark into a container or a quenching system, and triggers the shutdown of machinery.
